Settled Into New Home/Studio

I wrote last month about several of my new manifestations that came on in a big ‘pow’, one after the other (car, move to new place, etc).

Am now settled into my new neighborhood near the port / harbour area of beautiful Victoria, British Columbia (I’ve been back in this town for six years now … and am finally on the water!).

Not only does this location contribute to my vibration every day … keeping me calm, peaceful and centered.  It also a great location for those of you who are attracted to come to me for your private in-person SHIFT-IT Retreats and private graphic recording and graphic facilitation training (only until the end of this year).

My previous studio was great (Victorian era character), however this new location carries its own character which is modern, westcoast and light and airy.

Below are some photos of the new studio and of my neighborhood in general.  Come experience the ‘hot sofa’ for yourself.

PHOTOS:

THE HOT SOFA: Not just a ‘hot seat’, I have a hot sofa … where you are the focus of your private SHIFT-IT Retreat.  Its all about you, you and more you as we map out your past, your present and your desired future … plus identify and work through your resistance to having what you say you want (Law of Attraction work, etc).

THE GRAPHIC WALL:  My old place had a 15 foot wall, but my new place is all windows … so i purchased a graphic wall that i set up for us to work on.  Makes a really cozy and personable space to work from.  Great light for photographing your charts as they are created too.

TIME FOR A WALK: When we need a break, we head over to the ‘breakwater’ … great cafe to have lunch at with an amazing view.

WATER, WATER EVERYWHERE:  The beauty of being on an island is there is water everywhere.  😉  Adds a nice atmosphere for the deep and meaningful work we do in SHIFT-IT.

FISHERMANS WHARF: Is right down the block … grab fish and chips at the popular ‘Barb’s Place’ or hop the little Harbour Ferries to quickly get to downtown area.

HELICOPTERS, PLANES AND FERRY BOATS:  The adventure of your SHIFT-IT Retreat begins with getting here.  There are so many ways to get onto the island and most of them are just minutes from my studio.  If you are tele-coaching client of mine, you are used to hearing the seaplanes in the background, especially when I’m doing our call from my roof deck.  Below is the handy ‘Helijet’ service which is a quick way to get here from Vancouver or Seattle.

COHO FERRY:  Or, take one of the many ferries that service Vancouver Island … this is the Coho Ferries that runs between Victoria and Port Angeles.  From my windows i see it go back and forth. Its never missed a sailing for 50 years (talk about an ol’ sea horse).

HARBOUR AIR: Or, take a handy seaplane from either Vancouver or Seattle … great harbour to harbour service (you’ll have to keep your baggage weight pretty low though … if you are a clothes horse, then you’ll want to take a regular plane to Victoria’s International Airport which is 30 minutes away).

Have tons more photos of my place and surrounding area, if you want to take a peek.   A full commentary is up on my Facebook page (add me as a friend, I’m under Christina Merkley), or see the pictures at my Flickr link below.
