[Projecting Down] Annoying Group Leader
Initial Report: Carrie is consciously engaged in her inner work. She’s been attending some of my courses, doing a year-long mindfulness program on death, and also working with a therapist. She reports on movement on various fronts – grace has indeed been on her case.
Projecting Down: She owns her inconsistent attendance in Shifting the Power (course with Anneke Lucas and me) and therefore her confusion with its tools. Yet easily identifies a charged situation where she’s righteously annoyed.
So we use the Projecting Down tool from that course, to do shadow work on her triggering. Discovering an angry teen from puberty (Protector), guarding a very young and precious inner child (Exile/Orphan).
Through the process, Carrie coming to humbly see that she hides her own power too – and that her most essential inner work as an Elder is to love and guide her younger parts and to be a champion for innocence and magic.
