FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. HOW DO YOU WORK VIRTUALLY IF THIS IS A VISUAL MEDIUM? DON’T YOU NEED TO BE IN PERSON?
I use Zoom Web Conferencing Technology for my private coaching. Its a wonderful medium that allows both of us to see and hear each other (through our computers) and I also use a sketching tablet in case any visual notes are necessary for the kind of work we are doing (you can see the notes being created in front of your eyes, and digital files sent to you after each session).
2. WHAT IS THE AGENDA AND PROCESS?
Agendas are customized according to your unique needs, which is determined in our first session and/or you can book an Exploratory Chat to determine ahead of time. With my experience is usually very fast for me to determine the best approach for you and your situation.
3. WHAT ABOUT SCHEDULING?
Scheduling:
Private sessions are now 75 minutes in length. Upon registration you are sent an auto email with a scheduling link (if you don’t see, check your spam filters). I am on Pacific North America time (Victoria, Canada) and attempt to provide a flexible range of time choices. If you are on a different time zone, my scheduling software converts into your time zone.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:
Sessions are to be used within one year of purchase (leniency for extenuating circumstances). Scheduled sessions can be rescheduled (through the booking software). I require at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a booked session. Less than 24 hours results in forfeiture of session (excluding emergencies). No refunds, although in some situations unused sessions can be transferred to another persona or to another SHIFT-IT Coach product or service (transfers are at my discretion).
4. I SEE OTHER PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET IDENTIFYING THEMSELVES AS SHIFT-IT OR VISUAL COACHES TOO. HOW COME? WHO IS BEST FOR ME TO WORK WITH?
I am the original SHIFT-IT Coach. Since 2010 I have been certifying other Providers through my Visual Coach Certification. SHIFT-IT and Visual Coaching are spreading far and wide. Certified Visual Coaches in good standing are listed on the Visual Coach Directory.
Feel free to shop around. There is lovely diversity in the coaches. Follow your gut, it always knows!
5. DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING SPECIFIC TO PREPARE?
Its fine to come with a focus or list of things you wish to address. Or, you can come without any agenda. Either way is fine. Together we’ll sort it out.
